Welcome to our Bob’s Butts BBQ vending and custom catering site. My name is Kathy Noble and along with my husband Robert we have started this BBQ adventure with the goal to provide a delicious BBQ option for any catering or vending needs. For a little background information regarding Bob’s Butts BBQ vending and custom catering we would include that we are fully licensed by the state of Florida, we are fully insured and we are both Safe Food Handling Managers. We have a completely self contained trailer that we use for vending and catering. On a more personal level, we have been married for 30 years and we basically just love to cook and BBQ. I am a sixth generation Florida Cracker and I was so fortunate to have as cooking role models my mother and my grandmother. There was no dessert item that Eloise Burkhard could not bake and Granny K just cooked plain delicious farm foods. In my family, BBQ was accepted as the normal food choice for any occasion to include birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, baby showers and even funerals. Robert (while not a Florida native) has lived in the state most of his life and he grew up in the Thonotosassa Volunteer Fire Department where he learned some of his first cooking skills. Soon after we married, Robert took over the BBQ duties from my dad and he began to sharpen his process and he started building his own smokers and grills. After leaving Tampa and moving to Wellborn in North Florida, Robert finally had the opportunity to achieve one of his life- long dreams of having a competition BBQ team. That was when Bob’s Butts BBQ team started. Robert had attended the BBQ cooking school that Myron Mixon (Jack’s Old South BBQ and 3 time World BBQ Champion) has and he really began to develop his own  style with sauces, injections and smoking the whole hogs.  To brag just a little bit, our team that included our dear friends Bill and Dottie Chillcut competed for the first time professionally several years ago at a competition in Bronson during which Robert’s ribs were awarded a fifth place and he scored a half point behind Myron Mixon! We hope to travel around the area and vend BBQ at the different festivals and to provide BBQ catering for any occasion. Our goal is to provide really good food that everyone will enjoy and to have a good time doing it.
